For a cat who spent a good bit of time on his own in the out-of-doors before he adopted me last year, I was surprised at  his reaction to our little snowfall this week.   “Cooper from the Block” continues to be one of greatest cats I’ve ever had, and I’ve had a few.  He has the best purrsonality, plays with my foster kitten, Egypt, never picks fights, stays close to home, greets me in the morning with kisses…and uses the litterbox perfectly!

Well, here he is, touching snow, apparently for the first time.  Just click on the link below:

One of our local shelters recently busted a cat hoarding situation.  77 Cats were taken from the home, overwhelming the small Toccoa, GA shelter.

Some of the cats were so sick they had to be humanely euthanized.  Some were transferred to no-kill shelters and rescues.  Now they are looking for foster homes and adoptors to take the remaining 35 still at the shelter.

Please see the video below.  If you can help, contact them on their Facebook page: Toccoa-Stephens County Humane Shelter.  Below is a link to a video made by their Friends of the Shelter group.

I never know what to expect when I come home from work.  This is why I keep the bathroom door closed when I’m away, but I forgot the other day.

This had to be Jasmine and Jade’s idea..my Terrible Two.

They only look incident.

Lucky for them, Mom thought it was funny.

"This is fun!"
